
Queen Mary's College Multi-faith Forum Discussion
The event took place in the Queen Mary Hall and was chaired by Sally-Anne Spooner. Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Sikhism were represented by local faith leaders and practitioners.
During the forum, Graham Owen and Rosalind Rutherford presented the Christian view and Buddhist Practitioner, Daniela Miller talked about the Buddhist perspective on charity.
Hamza B. Oztas of HIOS, talked about the charity in Islam and the name of his presentation was: "Smile! It's charity". There were approximately 150-200 college students in the hall and the talk was applauded by the audience and the feedbacks are very positive so far.
Sally-Anne Spooner concluded the forum with the Sikh community's activities on charity. Here are some photos from the event.
